23 April 2026

2:30pm Kick Off – Sunday 26th April 2026

Barrfields Park , Brisbane Road , Largs , KA30 8NL

Entry

There will be NO cash gates in operation. The match is an ALL TICKET GAME and access will only be allowed upon presentation of a valid ticket. Kids under-12 are free only when accompanied by a paying adult. No ticket required for the child.

Tickets can be bought HERE.

*There is NO Segregation in place

Largs Thistle & Buchanhaven Hearts fans are asked to access and exit from Brisbane Road. Again please note that the lane behind the shed and leading from Brisbane Rd to Mansfield Crescent will be manned and should not be used by fans whilst accessing / egressing the ground – this is used purely for disabled access. During the game Buchanhaven Hearts fans are asked to be situated behind the far away goals and as indicated on the attached map layout. All facilities area shared

Note

We will have a Police presence and security personnel at the gates and persons may be asked to be searched prior to entry. Refusal to consent to a search may result in entry being denied.

There is NO segregation within the ground however there we would ask that Buchanhaven Hearts return to the same end after having used any facilities.

Gates will open from 1:15pm – latecomers may experience a slight delay in entry due to the anticipated numbers that are anticipated. Accordingly we encourage people to come as early as possible to avoid long queues.

Transport & Parking

Car parking is on street within the surrounding area  so please use public transport and consider car sharing where possible. Largs  train station is around a 15 minute walk from the park and there are many large car parking areas – all chargeable however – on the promenade side. Please be respectful of our neighbours when parking your vehicle and do not remove cones to park your car, park on corners ,block access to residents driveways or park on pavements as recently traffic wardens have been issuing tickets around the town.

Facilities

There are two sets of toilets – as indicated on the attached layout map. Toilets are situated next to the cabins at the Brisbane Road end (all as attached map layout).

Our canteen will be open as usual and additional stalls selling food and drink have also been brought in for the day. An ice cream van will also be parked nearby.

Media

There is no specific area set aside so please make your way in early and pick a suitable spot. All media should enter via Brisbane Road. Credentials must be sent in advance and approved by LTFC. Entry could be refused without this.

Consumption of Alcohol

The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 makes it illegal to carry alcohol into a football stadium and to enter a football stadium under the influence of alcohol. Sale of alcohol from the licensed cabin only on matchday and this will be strictly limited to home support with LTFC season ticket holders taking preference should the areas become crowded. No alcoholic drinks permitted to be consumed on the terracing – anyone found doing so may be asked to leave the stadium

The bar will be open for an hour before kick ,during half time and for one hour after the completion of the match. Please do not try to attempt to enter the bar at any other time.

Pyrotechnics, smoke bombs and flares-

Please note that it is a criminal offence to take or try to take a pyrotechnic into football matches, while carrying pyrotechnics in public without a reasonable excuse was recently made an offence through the Fireworks and Pyrotechnic Articles (Scotland) Act 2022. The Act gives police powers to stop and search someone where they have reasonable grounds to believe that the person may be in possession of a pyrotechnic in a public place. Anyone found in possession will be asked to leave the ground. Any damages caused to buildings or the playing surface  will be charged accordingly to the offender/culprit.

Disabled Access Information

Please note that we have street parking only, so we recommend early arrival to secure a convenient spot. However, this is not essential, as we have a coned-off area at the front of the park where vehicles can stop briefly to unload passengers.  A dropped kerb is located at the entrance for easier access.

Ticket Office and Viewing: Our ticket office has a lowered counter to accommodate wheelchair users and others who may benefit. The ground throughout the park is relatively level until nearer the pitch where it lowers using tiered steps. There is accessible access to an elevated viewing area to the right of the food cabin.

Food Access: If any wheelchair users or supporters with accessibility needs require assistance ordering or collecting food from the pie shop, our club committee members are happy to help. Just speak to any member of the team and we’ll ensure you’re looked after.

Sensory Support: There are two ASN Sensory Bags available for supporters who may benefit from them. These can be collected from the Ticket Office and should be returned at the end of the match.

First Aid will be available at all times in the Cabin as shown on the site map
